Youth MidWinter Retreat.jpg

We have a wonderful opportunity for our youth to join in the district's Mid-Winter Youth Retreat this January in New Braunfels. According to the event coordinator:

"This is a great chance for your students and volunteers to hang out with some youth and adults from several different churches over the weekend in a pretty laid back setting.  We'll be gathering at the T Bar M Camp in New Braunfels, which has an awesome campus with soooo many amenities.  We'll worship together, hear from a speaker who comes highly recommended from Gruene UMC, and spend some time in small groups.  We'll play a ton, with lots of free time where the youth can join in one of our structured activities (kickball, ultimate frisbee, or the like), or do something else of their choice (9-square, cornhole, play in the gym, etc.)."

If your youth is interested in attending, here are the details:

  • Friday, Jan 12th (begins at 7:00 p.m.) to Sunday, Jan 14th (ends at 10:30 a.m.)

  • $175 per student (without ropes course - not enough open spaces left)

  • Partial scholarships are available through the conference - please let me know if you are interested so I can send you the request form

  • Payment is not due at time of registration.  The church will collect payments and submit them to the conference.

  • At this point parent's will be providing transportation

  • 2 Safe Gatherings certified HHUMC volunteers are signed on to be chaperones

  • Please visit to register your youth and let me know when registration is completed.

MESA February 24.jpg

What is MESA? Mesa is table in Spanish.
Jesus’ table calls all to come and dine, to feast and learn more about him.

We have an exciting opportunity for Students 5th grade—12th grade to connect and have fun learning to cook and learning about Jesus.

MESA runs periodically throughout the year on Sundays from 4:30—6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall during the months of August to June.  No costs or fees.
