Some of our members cannot be with us in the pews — some for a season, some for the rest of their lives — but they have not left the body of Christ. Through our new Homebound Communion Ministry, lay servants carry the bread and cup — consecrated at our Sunday Table — out to members who are ill, recovering, or homebound. It is not private communion. It is the whole church's Table, extended to those who cannot gather with us. We are beginning this ministry at HHUMC, and we need willing hearts to serve.
