 od and the prayers of this congregation.\nOn Sunday\, August 9\, we will c
 elebrate a Blessing of the Backpacks and Blessing of the Teachers. Student
 s from pre-school to college are invited to bring their backpacks\, and we
  will pray over them as a congregation. We'll also have backpack tags to s
 erve as a reminder of God's presence with our students.\nTeachers\, admini
 strators\, office workers\, cafeteria employees\, custodians\, bus drivers
 \, and school support staff — we want to pray over you as well. You bles
 s our children every day\, and we want you to begin the new year with God'
